Leading Property Manager of NZ – 2016 Awards for Excellence
We are very proud to report that for the 3rd year running Pedersens was nominated for multiple awards of excellence at the Leading Property Managers of NZ annual awards evening.
Anne Garland was a finalist for Property Manager of the Year 2016, the same award for which she won in 2014. Pedersens was also for the 3rd time a finalist for Website of the Year.
Being a finalist in these awards is incredible recognition of Anne’s hard efforts and continued dedication to excellence in the property management industry.

New Staff Appointments
We welcome to our team for 2017 Patrick Olney, Brayton Collecutt and Paul Garland:
- Patrick Olney: Patrick is coming on in January as our General Manager across both Pedersens Property Management and Kris Pedersen Mortgages. Before joining us he had over 24 years work experience in banking and finance with ANZ and ASB, including extensive knowledge in managing staff teams and customer relations.
- Brayton Collecutt: Brayton joined the team in November an Assistant Property Manager to Anne Garland and is learning to specialise in the management of rental investment portfolios. While new to the industry he brings with him experience with working for a large finance company plus he is completing his final semester for a degree in Accountancy and Finance.
- Paul Garland: Paul has recently joined the Pedersens team and is responsible for managing the 3D virtual property technology that we have recently introduced as part of our standard services. Paul meticulous attention to detail and understanding of all things technical makes him perfect for this role.
New Property Management Software and Online Booking System
On the 1st February 2017 we will be moving our property management software platform to a new cloud based system. This will not only provide our property managers with greater visibility when out of the office, it will also offer our Owners and Tenants a portal which is far superior to the one we currently have and will provide real time information pertaining to your property.
It also allows us to embed video into our routine inspections and offers an extensive maintenance system allowing us to better communicate with Owners and Tenants when maintenance is needed on a property. We will update you with more information closer to the time but we really feel that transitioning the platform is imperative to being able to continue our commitment to providing our clients with the highest level of service and the best property management experience. We are also upgrading our online booking system at the same time so that prospective tenants can see and book viewing times not only from our website but also directly from Trade Me. We expect this ability to book direct from Trade Me will increase the overall conversion of people viewing the adverts to booking a viewing.
